LONDON, UK: On 7 September, renowned academic and dental public health specialist Prof. Liz Kay was inaugurated as the British Dental Association’s (BDA) 135^th president. For the first time in the post-World War II era, the role will be occupied by an individual for more than one year, as Kay is set to stay as president until 2023 owing to the upheaval caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
